2018 Buddy Walk

Join the Down Syndrome Family Alliance of Greenville as we unite for a common cause and raise funds at the 2018 Greenville Buddy Walk®! Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, take the first step and donate or register today! Help us spread the word! All are welcome for our day of celebration! Our walk route is a one mile paved road which anyone can complete without special training. Bring the family and as many friends as you can and enjoy the festivities. It is great to celebrate all of those with Down syndrome in such a way as this!!

The Buddy Walk® was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. The Buddy Walk® has grown from 17 walks in 1995 to nearly 300 Walks planned for 2015 worldwide. In 2014, more than $12.2 million was raised nationwide to benefit local programs and services, as well as the national advocacy and public awareness initiatives of NDSS that benefit all individuals with Down syndrome.
